"night staff disrespectful to patients"

About: Conquest Hospital

Anything else?

My partner was admitted to a and e on new years day. She was left without any updates from staff. A blood test was carried out at 4 oclock. By 10 oclock still no results back. When she asked the night nurse on duty they told her they were too busy in a and e to deal with her. Some elderly patients on the same ward were spoken to very abruptly and with no respect. At one stage they even said they did not care what happened in the morning as they weren't working and not there problem! My partner asked again about the blood test at 2 oclock (some 10hours after the test was done) to be told they had no record of any blood test been carried out. Very poor service from the night staff. The day staff are very professional shame the night staff can't learn from them !
