The AAU team clearly work extremely efficiently together. Having spent long hours in the department this past week whilst accompanying my mother for DVT and AF treatment/monitoring etc, we both agree that the care she received was first-class. The nursing sister in charge ran a very tight ship and yet it was obvious she had the respect of her colleagues, all of whom worked closely together. The consultants were also very caring and professional - and the AAU at Watford General Hospital demonstrates how smoothly and effectively an NHS department can operate in the hands of a committed and carefully lead team - my mother and I are very grateful for the superb care she received.
