My partner snipped the tip of one of his fingers off with secateurs (yuk!) whilst cutting down a huge branch which landed in our garden after the bad weather just before Xmas. As it was 27th Dec. we phoned in advance as we weren't sure if the minor injury unit at Orsett Hospital would be open and we suspected that A&E at Basildon Hospital would be a nightmare. We were told to come in and we cannot praise highly enough the service he was given. We didn't have to wait long at all and the two nurses who treated him were absolutely lovely, very efficient and helpful and he cannot sing their praises highly enough. A huge thank you for helping us out when we needed it.
