Last Sunday ( 22nd December 2013 ) I was brought into A & E by ambulance after collapsing whilst shopping. My treatment from arrival until returning home was at all times professional and attentive and above all, carried out with compassion and good humour, and bearing in mind that the department was extremely busy, the length of time that I had to wait was more than satisfactory. I was moved to the new CDU ward whilst awaiting further tests and I must say the ward was a revelation it being of a well designed modern layout and very comfortable, again the care from the staff was exemplary. In conclusion I would like to send my thanks to all the staff who looked after me during my short stay.
