"Major Stomach Cancer Surgery"

About: Wythenshawe Hospital

Anything else?

I believe that I was talked into having an operation for a tumour that was not a cancer. This is my Huge regret, I was taken ill on the plane flying back from Dubai to Manchester on December 6th, the hospital moved very quickly in establishing I was suffering from internal bleeding, I was given two units of blood. I started to recover very quickly. I had a CT scan I think around the 10th of December for my torn muscle and trapped nerve when the scan then found this tumour in my stomach which could have been there for well over ten years, as stated it is a tumour but not a cancer, I wanted it to be monitored but the surgeon said I would be mad not to have this very slow growing non cancer tumour removed I have been very ill indeed since this operation and remain unwell and I remain in the hospital up to the present day Sunday December 29th I will transfer to the Royal Shrewsbury over the next few days to complete my recovery as it is my home Hospital
