The emergency service was called when my son (50 yrs old) became ill whilst staying with me.
The response was immediate and advice given - a Paramedic from Warminster (Gerald) attended within 10 minutes - he was extremely competent and whilst we were waiting for the Ambulance he had taken a complete history and inserted a cannula and set up a drip. He created an atmosphere of calm.
The ambulance came from Trowbridge the attendants were Chris and Clare, They were excellent and worked with the paramedic to transfer the patient to the ambulance - they competently dealt with a convulsive fit which occurred during transfer.
I really commend these members staff for their professional manner and ability to deal with a difficult situation.
