I recently went through IVF (Egg Donation), I was thrilled to find out I was pregnant but sadly at ten weeks I miscarried.

I knew at some point I would have to be seen at my local EPAS (Early Pregnancy Assessment Service) but was dreading the visit.

I had experienced very bad treatment at another EPAS, in another health authority, and thought I was in for the same thing.

But the staff at the Southern General in Glasgow have been fantastic. From my first visit there over 5wks ago they have treated me with compassion and respect and took time to listen to me. Everyone that has saw me has offered me words of comfort and encouragement, the receptionist even went out of her way to help myself and my partner find out about bus routes to and from the hospital.

They are a great team and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them officially.

And if their manager gets the chance to read this I would like to suggest that their wonderful team deserves some kind of special recognition for the outstanding service they provide.
