I had to go into the day surgery unit to have an operation on my hand. I could not fault the staff or my experience at this hospital. All went to plan, it was forecast that I would go to theatre at 2.15pm and that is exactly what happened. All the medical staff I came into contact, be they nurses, doctors or surgeon, were fine with me. The experience could not have been better even if I had gone as a private patient.
