Anything else?
My mother is 74 and, apart from help with one ' out of hours' help with my daughter 22 years ago, our family have never had contact with A&E,so when my mother phoned me with stomach pains and was in tears, I did not hesitate in picking her up and taking her straight to Andover A & E,first mistake because I was silly enough not to understand that Andover do not supply an A & E service . But never mind, whilst in the hospital, with the bars down on main reception, I thought, having heard laughter from the minor injuries area, i could just ask the staff there for advise.....my enquiry was met with one member of staff disappearing, one more sympathetic lady explaining the protocol re the111 service, while one female member of staff tutted, and did one of those head shaking guestures associated with the thought that the general public daring to enter and ask a question, must be a complete idiot. Thank you the one nice lady Andover, thank you Winchester A&E...please share your manners with the two andover staff mentioned. I could rant over two Andover staff but I prefer to thank one Andover lady and Winchester for their kindness...well done and bless you x
