Anything else?
This is the first surgery I have every had and from the initial consultation through to the post operative care, this has been a professional and caring process. I have not long been in the UK and with no family (apart from my husband) or friends close by was more than a little apprehensive. My Surgeon explained things in a clear manner and made my decision to go ahead with hip replacement surgery something not to be frightened of. I want to say thank you to the nurse who was with me in recovery - nice having a chat about NZ, that put me at ease. The Ward staff were lovely, they work really hard and I appreciated that they are stretched at times - but they still managed a wee joke and give you some personal attention. Thank you to the sisters, nurses, people who come with the food/tea, OT, physios and the rather hilarious porter who took me down for an Xray after a fall. You guys deserve a medal!
