"I found meditation to be very calming and peaceful"

About: Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust / Adult mental health (inpatient)

(as the patient),

My recent health care experience was organised through the social inclusion and wellbeing service, meditation sessions t Askhobya Centre.

I found the Buddhist Centre to be a place of peace and tranquility. My mind is always busy with thoughts racing out of control. that leaves me feeling very low, tearful and exhausted. The sessions were very relaxing and calming, which helped to calm my mind and also helped me to relax.

I found that meditation was similar to mindfulness. I found my experience to be very calming and peaceful.

Thank you.

Dear Under 49

It was really nice to learn about your experience at the Buddhist centre. This centre is one of our partner organisation and has been offering a number of courses and support around relaxation and meditation to people who access social inclusion & Wellbeing service. We would be doing more such sessions in the near future for our service users and would keep people informed about the forthcoming sessions. Hope you continue to benefit from these sessions.
