Ive been admited to chase farm hospital for 4 of my wisdom teeth to be removed under GA. I moved to London not long ago so i didn't have anyone to look after me, so when my first appointment has been cancelled due to lack of space and beds (so they couldnt keep me in overnight) i got dissapointed and thought that this hospital going to be one of those with bad experiences, but i got call after few weeks to rearrange appointment, and been told again that it might get cancelled again if i dont have anybody again and if they will have not spare bed. Fortunately this time they carried on with the treatment, and I actually even got surprised about the care I've been given, ever even from the first moments when they were changing me into a gown, for such care i dont even mind that ive been seen not by the order, some patients had appointments later than me but has bern taken first, i really don't mind that, because i came out from hospital impressed, yes in pain but impressed and happy. They took care every moment, and took me back to the recovery room when where in pain, kept me warm after the op, and changed the dressing to soak up the blood in mouth, after that its not only nurses that were lovely, but actually even anaesthetists team were coming back and check how you are, and one of them was actually even trying to make me smile which helped a lot, i felt very extra-comfortable, nurse cover me with second and warm blanket to keep me warmer. Everyone worked hard its outstanding quality. When at the ward high quality of care has carried on. In the morning i been woken up to check the blood pressure which was really low, and to rise a bit one of healthcare member has brought a cup of warm milk to my bed, and its helped when they checked again, ever so caring. Finally when i was getting ready doctor/consultant came in to check me and how im getting on, and gave me proper discharge note along with meds, even though ive been told that i will not be seen . Its all was just excellent ! Thank you so much! Even at my own home by family i never been comforted as much as i had while staying in Chase Farm Hospital overnight.
