"Early evening on 13 June I came ..."

About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

Early evening on 13 June I came in to the A&E department with my 19-month old daughter who had broken her leg. I was expecting to have to wait several hours, being a Friday, but we were seen immediately at reception and went straight to the nurse, then the doctor and the radiographer. For few minutes we did have to wait, there were plenty of toys and books to distract my daughter in the waiting room. The staff were all friendly and professional and very gentle and calm with my daughter.

I live in Europe in a country where we have to pay for our health care, but the treatment I received at the N&N has surpassed any I've had in my country. I am very grateful to the NHS and in particular to the staff at the N&N for such a wonderful service.

What could be improved

Absolutely nothing.

Thank you for this feedback and we wish you and your daughter well. We have passed your kind comments on to the A&E team.
