Thank you for the very kind comments.

As a manger of a team, there is nothing more pleasing to hear than good feedback re: staff on the ward.

On Rowan 1, we take great pride in developing others.

We know how it feels to be a student on a ward and hope our approach reflects what we have learnt form our own experiences.

It is our responsibility to provide opportunities for learning, support and involvement for you and I am glad we are meeting those needs.

Of course, much of the credit should go to you for your own approach to your role on the ward.

Much credit should also be given to our Supporting Practice Learning Co-ordinators, Walter Carter and Cheryl Willis have completed a fantastic amount work in respect of welcoming students and delivering support. Their efforts were refelected in our recent Supporting Practice Learning Audit, which deemed the ward as excellent in supporting aspiring nurses.

We are very open to learning lessons on the ward, so if there is anything you feel could have been improved, please let us know.
