"MRI waiting times after injury"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Trauma & orthopaedics (wards 26, 27, 61 & 62 )

(as the patient),

After an accident at home I was left with a very painful knee and band limp. My GP referred me as an urgent case in late October and I was seen at the Royal orthopaedics in mid November and a MRI of my hip and pelvis was requested. I underwent the MRI in early December but have to wait until late January for the results. I am still in pain and still limping and find it pointless to have an MRI done as an urgent case and then wait 8 weeks for results. I have already tried for any any cancellations but none are available as yet.
