"My Insoles Fitting"

About: Locala Community Partnerships CIC / Podiatry

(as the patient),

I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment time and was greeted by the Podiatrist who introduced himself as James.

He took me into a room and brought out my new insoles, where I placed them into my shoes. He asked me to have a walk about to see if they felt ok and explained that he had made them quite firm in the arch as my previous pair had collapsed. James was very pleasant and was chatting and asking what I did for a living, and was intrigued as to how much walking I do when I said I was a postman!

He then showed me the lab and explained that this was where he made the insoles. James seemed genuinely VERY pleased when I said the new insoles felt great -he seems very proud of the service he provides, and rightly so!

The NHS should be proud of James. Brilliant!

James does indeed take great pride in his work, as do all his colleagues within the Locala Podiatry department.

Thank you so much for leaving your thoughts on Patient Opinion, it really does help us within our service.
