"Failure to report on MRI scan"

(as a relative),

My husband has been really poorly and after a traumatic first MRI attended Out patients for a repeat MRI 4 weeks ago.

Still no result so thinking no news is good news? However we decided to contact MRI department only to be told it hasn't even been reported on?

As it stands we're waiting for a call and we still have uncertainty.
