Anything else?
On 25 Nov 2013 I underwent surgery for a total knee replacement. From my initial consultation with the doctor to my discharge from Great Tey Ward, on 29 Nov 2013, I received nothing but the utmost of care and attention. Without exception, all staff were quietly efficient and most professional in carrying out their tasks. Always ready to help and assist where necessary they treated each patient as an individual. Teamwork was most evident throughout which in turn generated an air of bonhomie. Short excursions to other departments, eg X-Ray, showed similar such attributes throughout the hospital. Albeit, Colchester has suffered from some adverse publicity of late I am more than pleased that I had been referred there and have no hesitation in recommending it to others. My sincere thanks go to all who cared for me. Sincerely, Colin Heithus
