My mother was admitted to A+E tonight with acute sepsis. She was seen and treated immediately by a Senior Registrar in the star area.She was given appropraite treatment within about 20 minutes. On transfer to the main dept the SHO on duty was lovely and explained everything. All of the staff were professional and kind. The only criticism I have is that there was rather loud inappropriate music playing in star. They were amazing in a very busy and pressured environment.

I am very pleased to hear that your mother was seen and treated quickly in the star area and I am glad that the care being provided was well explained. It is wonderful to hear your comments, the team work very hard to ensure they deliver high quality care and it is lovely to hear your positive feedback. As for the volume of music in the star unit, I will be sure to look into this. I hope you mother is now recovering well.
