I had a severe bleed from a varicose vein during the night, when I rang emergency service I was given clear and concise instructions of how to stem the bleed until the Paramedics arrived. When the Paramedics arrived they treated me with respect and calmed me while treating and stopping the bleeding. They took me to Whiston hospital as my blood pressure was very high and I needed to see a doctor. The staff were busy but I was treated at all times with respect and I appreciated their care.
