After my son was involved in a major rta on the m4 then air lifted to Frenchay hospital i cannot thank the staff on the intensive care ward enough after the care they gave my son and our family. We lived over 250 miles away and the hospital even provided accommodation for the whole of our stay which in total was 9 days. I am very grateful for the treatment and care of which my son received and will never forget the staff and would just like to say that closing the hospital next year would be a very big mistake thanks again Frenchay.

I am pleased that you found your son’s care to be so good and that your whole family felt supported at this difficult time. Please be assured that the service, when it is transferred to Southmead, will retain the staff and their expertise and the new facilities available will assist them to maintain and even improve on these high standards of care.
