After going in for a hip replacement. A friend had the same operation earlier in the year and seemed to have received not very good treatment. However this is not the case I found from admission on Ward 19 to post Op on Ward 18 I had excellent treatment. The Matron was a real help and had a good chat with me and explained everything I needed to know, he was a really nice guy and a credit to the Ward. His staff obviously thought the same and his easy leadership showed through in happy staff.
