I had to rush my partner in with back pain. He was promptly seen in the Green Area, part of A&E by a nurse who did some observations and gave pain relief and then by some bloke with a maroon uniform, a nurse practitioner. They were really kind really sympathetic and well sorted the problem. They are really good there. Nice to know that when things go wrong there are people like that to go to. I've been to a few hospitals in my time and hope I can break the habit. But if I have to go again it will be a no-brainer as to where. Thanks guys.

Our Emergency Department staff in particular are under a lot of pressure due to increasing numbers of attendances however they are a team committed to providing high quality care and we are proud of the service they are able to deliver.
