About: Barnet Hospital

Anything else?

Visited A & E - Parking a nightmare. Ladies toilet dirty. Cleaning chart not current. Drink/eats machine out of order. Reception area very small for numbers. Staff didn't even know where light switches were to cubicles. Just transferred from Chase Farm. The whole area still a building site with notices up saying new A&E opening November. Should not have closed Chase Farm until they were ready to accept the new influx.

In reading your feedback I note that you have found an number of areas that have left you with a negative experience in using the emergency services at Barnet Hospital. As an organisation we are committed from learning from specific issues and from any mistakes we may have made. Hearing about where we can do better helps us to pinpoint where exactly to make improvements to the service we provide. The 9th December 2013 was the first day that Chase Farm was closed to ambulances but it is continuing to receive all urgent care walk in patients from 9.00am to 9.00pm. With regards to your comments about Barnet Hospital emergency service, I have passed these onto the emergency services business manager and our Estates department. If you wish to contact the Trust and provide your details for a more personal response, please contact bcfpals@nhs.net or telephone 02082164924. Thank you for feeding back your experiences and our apologies that they did not meet your expectations on this occasion.
