What I liked
My partner was waiting in A&E (after triage) for two hours while blood tests could have been run - eventually when blood was taken she then had to wait another 2 hours for results. She was passed on to the CDU while waiting for my results, and the doctor there had no idea she was coming and no knowledge of her case.
What could be improved
Communication - have your notes available to everyone easily.
Common sense - if you identify in triage that someone will need a blood test, take the blood there and then to save people sitting around.
