"poor care for my 92 year old Aunt,"

About: Newham PCT / District nursing

(as a relative),

The GP requested twice weekly visits for my 92 year old Aunt. She had a tiny break in the skin of the shin following a fall. Was hoping that the doctor or nurse would with careful nursing prevent the breakdown of this small wound into an ulcer. The nurses have turned up intermittently or not at all (mainly not at all it seems to me). Nobody to me seems accountable and nobody seems to be interested and nobody cares. It's shameful. The outcome is my Aunt now has an infected ulcerated leg. Have tried numerous times today to ensure a visit. Even PALS are unable to ensure that the service is provided. Why is this service made almost impossible to access? It is a disgrace.
