"Poor pain control was my main complaint"

About: Highfield Hospital

Anything else?

I was given what I think was a very poor serVice by some staff at this hospital. The RMO and consultants were exemplary but the attitude of one nurse in particular was a disgrace. I had post op complications but wasn't given the pain relief recommended by the RMO because this nurse said I was a day case and was going home and she would be told off if I stayed and the hospital would not get paid ! As it turned out I did need to stay overnight for medical reasons. I was shocked by the nurses brusque and dismissive attitude but was in too much pain to argue. I will never attend as an in patient again nor recommend. There were of course some good attentive staff and the RMO was excellent.
