Operation went well, post care just fine, stayed overnight in male ward. Food wasn't bad either! I am originally from the US (I am a UK citizen now, not a benefit tourist!!) so I truly appreciate all of this and the lack of cost and most importantly dealing with insurance companies - so stressful it will undo any benefit you get from hospital treatment!
