I would like to commend the department! As a day care patient, my care was second to none! I had my own room, superb nursing care and was fully informed. When attending the clinic my needs and thoughts were considered, and when I decided I was ready for the operation, it went ahead within 6 weeks! Very impressed. The operation itself was more complex than initially thought, however I was walking as soon as I woke from the anaesthetic! The credit for this goes to the Consultant. I can now: Walk down hills with no pain and not on tip toe. Walk straight. Not fall. Have less back pain! And my knee looks so much better. Thank you so much for all your hard work and help
