My mother 96 yrs old, was discharged from Barnet recently. On Friday an occ.therapist phoned me as next of kin advising mother may be discharged earley next week said she would phone later to confirm when.Did not phone.Saturday I phoned ward was told my mother would see doctor on Monday I explained I had her door key and lived about 2 hours away so must know before she was discharged to be at her home. was confirmed discharge would not be before Tuesday. Monday 2 pm was phoned to say my mother was discharged & in waiting room for transport.My wife made train bus etc journey arrived 4:45 at home. Transport had not been booked for my mother Was sent in taxi. No wheelchair available apparently!!! Arrived 7pm.

On Friday last week mother had Cardiology app. I had arranged transport & confirmed ok on Thursday. Transport did not arrive.Transport dept said not ordered. Card dept had fax confirming booking.Mother very distressed.

Admin at Barnet is atrocious. Had other bad experiences during mothers stay in Barnet.
