"End of life care"

About: Dewsbury & District Hospital

Anything else?

Dad had been in and out of hospital over an 18 month period. Over this time he received excellent care from staff in a variety of wards and A& E. During his final stay on ward 5 , despite my anger at his condition staff listened and responded with care and concern. His family were involved in all decisions about his care when he could no longer make these choices. Nothing was too much trouble for either dad or his family. On the day he died I have never seen dad look so comfortable. To everyone concerned in his care I say a huge thank you. You worked above and beyond your duties, the Chief Nurse should be very proud of you all .

We are pleased that the staff were able to provide the neccessary support and we are indeed proud of them. Thank you very much indeed for these kind comments.
