We took our son to see the GP and he was told he would need blood tests.
It took 2 days to get an appointment for the blood test and a lot of worry on my sons part because he is so scared of them.
I think having to wait and make a secondary appointment is not only a waste of time, money and resources but unnecessary stress and worry makes this system illogical.
Why are the GP's and even the practice nurses not allowed to take blood there and then?
