I had a knee replacement at Mount Vernon in April of this year. The Consultant was superb as were the other members of his team. The Nurses likewise and the ancillary staff were delightful, caring, and very helpful. Everyone seemed very happy and transmitted this attitude to the patients. The food was not brilliant but to be fair I was not that interested, as my appetite, was affected by the medicines so I was not that concerned. Plenty of drinks were available and nothing was too much trouble, by all members of staff. Excellent hospital departments, related to Orthopaedics.. The treatment I received was better than I would have expected at a Private Hospital. Well done to you all!!
