I attended A&E recently at 9 pm, feeling very poorly and with chest pain, suffering from pneumonia. I hadn't wanted to go as I know how busy A&Es are and didn't want to feel worse by waiting. Despite the department being busy, I could not have been cared for better. The four nurses and doctor I saw were all so kind. I was treated very quickly, everything necessary was done( xray, drip, bloods etc) and I started to feel better within an hour. Also, despite being so busy, they managed to create a calm, professional atmosphere.
