My husband has CLL leukaemia and has been treated at the Phoenix over the past year. All the staff - receptionists, nursing staff, volunteers even the cleaner have welcoming smiles. The unit is comfortable, clean and bright and refreshments are always offered. All the nursing staff, the consultant and other medical staff are approachable, caring and professional. He could not have had better treatment anywhere even privately. Well done Sunderland Royal Hospital and especially the Phoenix Unit. Thankyou
