Hi Sarah, we are sorry to hear that your experience with one or more of our teams seems has been an unhappy one for you. We can see from your post that you have received care from us recently and we want to provide feedback to the people concerned. This will help us to make sure we’re doing all we can to make the patient experience the best it can be. Unfortunately without further information from you we cannot take this further - we have a number of locality community mental health teams, which cover the whole of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, All of our teams include qualified community psychiatric nurses, occupational therapists and at least one consultant psychiatrist. Our crisis resolution and home treatment (CRHT) service provides support for people experiencing a severe mental health crisis who would otherwise need admission to an adult mental health inpatient ward. We would like to reassure you that we are currently working with colleagues from University Hospitals Leicester to expand the 24 hour support we provide in A&E for patients who have self harmed.
