"mostly perfect!"

About: Wansbeck Hospital

Anything else?

i couldn't speak more highly of the staff who saved my premature baby and my brother and gave my mother dignity in her final days. i didn't like the same sex wards though. and the disabled toilets could do with an electric push button door as i got trapped inside one for quite a while when i couldn't reach the handle. but overall it's the best hospital i've been to and the staff are wonderful and go above and beyond their duty

Dear Sir/Madam Thank you so much for taking the time to share your and families experiences of care at Wansbeck Hospital. It is very kind of you to share with us what that care has meant to you, especially when each of those occassions must have been very difficult ones for you all. Feedback from our patients on how we can improve is just as important and I thank you for the feedback that you have given too. Single sex wards are a national standard across the whole of the NHS and generally patients do tells us that they prefer them. I will make sure that your comments on the disabled toilets are passed them onto our estates team, they are very helpful thank you. Best Wishes Annie
