"Outpatient/Blood Testing"

About: University Hospital (Coventry)

Anything else?

I have a chronic illness that needs treatment and regular monitoring. The biggest let down is that the consultants who treat me don't seem to read my patient notes or speak to their colleagues who have previously treated me. I get asked the same questions every time (how much medicine are you on? even though they told me not to take any and its in the notes!) Each consultant seems to offer differing diagnosis and treatments. The biggest let down is the waiting times. Very rare to be seen at the time given for the appointment, at times is almost 45 minutes later. The Blood test area really needs more nurses as you can see they are understaffed and under pressure. Waiting times are a joke.
