Hi mums. I though I share my experience it can be different to others but this is just my opinion. I gave birth to my first baby in June 2011 there and the hospital facilities and cleanness was fine. my only problem which is major one is the staff they were just so rude, uncaring and almost un human not helpful at all. I had a long labor 36 hours when not the doctor but my mum ordered they give me c section. everything was fine I was scared but knew this could happen. the problem started afterwards after my c section when back to the room and everyone had to leave after visitors hours so it was me left with the baby and some horrible midwifes not helping me at all and when they did you can tell it bothered them to be called. once my little baby was crying so hungry for about 4 hours I couldn't get up to pick him up all I did was cry with him was just horrible. now I am pregnant with my second baby and my Gp automatically transferred me there and just been on the phone with the fetal medicine unit and just remind me how horrible and rude people are in this hospital! I had an early scare for a possible ectopic pregnancy and i have been going to st Thomas and omg what a difference people are so nice and educated for me manners don't cost a thing so being polite can make someone's day st Thomas is about 1 hour away from me but I am willing to take this trip just so I don't have the same experience st Georges is really bad and I say 95% of staff are so rude and horrible for no reason such a shame because is such a lovely hospital and we'll equipped but definitely need to sort this out
