"Bowel Cancer Surgery and follow up"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital

Anything else?

I cannot state enough how happy I am to have been admitted to Bolton Hospital. From being admitted into casualty and within 24 hours diagnosed with bowel cancer. Right through from casualty, wards staff to the surgeon i was treated with compassion, dignity and kindness. I am still not totally out of the woods but my frequent checks keep me in touch and my mind at ease. I received life saving surgery at Bolton and no matter what concerns I have, i know I can always approach them. On a day to day basis i saw staff deal with willing and unwilling patients and always remained calm and considerate throughout. When i use to visit the doctors or hospitals I used to be so scared and panic would set in. Even though I was very poorly in Bolton and had to undergo 2 operations, I always feel a sense of calm when arriving. Massive thank you to everyone at Bolton Hospital, my Guardian Angels Susan x

Dealing with cancer is a difficult time for all patients and families so we are pleased to hear that staff here at the hospital made you feel at ease. Your kind comments will be passed on to the departments. Thank you.
