"Ward 223"

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital

Anything else?

I was most impressed with the positive attitude and cheerfulness of most of the staff, including ancillary staff. It made what was a miserable stay in hospital as bearable as it could be. Note, I was unable to select a department below but was in ward 223 of coronary unit.

Dear Alex,

Many thanks for your feedback regarding the positive attitude and cheerfulness of the staff on Ward 223. We recognise that coming into hospital can be a daunting and frightening experience for our patients so try to keep the atmosphere as warm and positive as possible.

Your comments are much appreciated and demonstrate that being cared for in a cheerful environment can have a positive effect on patient care. I will share your comments at our next staff meeting. Thank you very much for taking the time to post your comments.

Kind regards

Sister Jacqueline Tideswell
