From initial diagnosis to eventual reconstructive surgery I was dealt with in a very professional and dignified manner. I must thank the opthalmology department and all in the day surgery unit. I must admit that I was rather worried by the whole process but the consultant was extremely clear in the whole process giving me information as to what was going to happen and what would be happening. I would certainly recommend the Westmorland General Hospital to anyone and after recent problems at Carlisle Infirmary it is pleasing to see how a hospital should be run. Well done. Nick Pocock.
