What I liked
My Partner had a stroke dec 06, the staff on the stroke unit were brilliant and vey helpful, I couldnt have asked for better care for him.
But earlier this year hehad a fit which resulted him being admitted again, I told the staff his medication, when they were due, they didnt listen. Painkillers which i gave 1 nitely was given 4x daily. His anti depressents (used mainly to help him sleep) was given 1 morn n 1 t time...instead of 2x nitely. So he was sleeping all the time...practically in a coma as he was very hard to rouse!! they sent him home like that as well...they also put him on epilepsy tablets which didnt help. When he went back in I got him under the Dr that helped with his stroke he listened to me n things were soon sorted out.
What could be improved
Nursing staff to listen to patients carers
