I suffer from piles and asked what pain killing ointment can you give me for after the procedure at UCLH Hospital. The bowel cancer screening nurse telephoned me today and said the doctor cannot offer me any ointment and if I am in pain after the procedure I should see my GP. I am worried about the attitude of the doctor.
Therefore they are quite prepared to leave me with painful piles to suffer the whole weekend.
