I went to the Sussex eye hospital on the recommendation of my optician with a suspected detached retina. At the emergency department I was examined by someone within fifteen minutes and that afternoon given laser surgery to repair small tears in one eye. An appointment was made for me to be admitted two days later for more major surgery on the other eye.This was carried out during the day. Everyone I came in contact with was unfailing friendly and helpful. I was given lunch, which was well cooked, so in all aspects I can highly recommend the hospital.
