I went to visit my partner in the hospital in blackburn hospital, firstly he got given the meals that the person ordered the night before and these were solid foods and also soup that was cold he had to send it back, baring in mind he wasnt able to keep food down and i believe they knew this. He had to go for a shower and the shower was abysmal, the shower curtain was black, the chair had horrible markings all over it the floor was horribly dirty. He could not log onto the internet because nobody knew the password and said he would not be able to get it until the IT technician came in even though on other floors people were connected to it, there was no tv, no radio so he had nothing to do. I felt bad leaving him there. Dont get me wrong the nurse's and the staff were brilliant with him and very nice but i was appalled at the lack of hygiene in this bathroom and he had nothing to do, we spent lots of money in the WHS smith on magazines but he read them within 10 minutes. Im thankful to all the staff but i was appalled at the cold food and the hygiene.
