I was bitten by a tick on the yorkshire moors and developed quite a few symptoms including the belief that my skin was being attacked by some sort of parasite. I visited the dermatology department and was diagnosed with a mental health disorder. This diagnosis has followed me for the last year on trying to establish what is wrong. It has enabled vaious doctors to sweep my symptoms under the mental health carpet. Non have sent me to a mental health specialist. I now have a deranged liver and all my medical notes say is 'walks on moorlands'. I suspect Q and now must spend more money finding a competent consultant who looks at the bacteral infection caused by ticks. Please see Abbey lane surgery review along with Hallamshire hospital on how to ensure a patient has no dignity or understanding when dealing with the NHS
