"My experience with Inclusion Matters has been wonderful"

About: Inclusion Matters Liverpool

(as the patient),

My experience with Inclusion Matters has been wonderful. Before I attended any sessions and started my treatment, I felt unable to do the most basic tasks, as my anxiety was so severe and overwhelming.

I started seeing my counsillor, and slowly but surely I've started doing things I really didn't think I could do again. Things like walking the dogs, doing housework, going to the local shop... and while this might sound quite trivial to some people, it's a major hurdle for me.

I know I have a long way to go, but I know I'm on the right path, and that is due to Inclusion Matters and especially my counsillor, Samantha. She is fantastic and I don't think I could have done it without her wonderful advice and support.

Overall my experience with IM has been a great one.

Dear Elemental200

Thank you so much for this feedback, it is fantastic to hear how well you are doing and I will ensure Samantha received these great comments.

You had clearly been suffering a lot before you started therapy, and as you experienced, this can make people feel they can't get on with everyday tasks. It is therefore so good to hear how much you have got back to doing many of these things already.

I know you are still on the journey but I hope that the confidence you have gained from the work you have done with Samantha will continue to grow and help you as you carry on along the path.

All the very best for the future and thanks again for taking the time to share your story.

Kind regards

Heather
