I would like to thank all the staff on Ward 14 for the care they gave my late father during his stay on the ward. Every member of staff treated Dad with kindness, dignity, respect and compassion, which was extended to Mum and other members of the family when we visited. Knowing that Dad was being so well looked after meant a huge amount to us at this difficult time. During the long hours we spent on the ward we witnessed these same attitudes in relation to other patients and visitors. I work as an senior NHS manager elsewhere specialising in governance so speak from a knowledge of what great care should look like. You certainly achieved it and are all that is fantastic about the NHS. Thank you
