My husband recently underwent a radical prostatectomy and from the minute we attended the initial consultation, we were quickly booked in for treatment and found all the staff we dealt with, especially the wonderful post operative nurses on the PACU unit, to be top notch. Management of pain relief was always a priority, and as my husband was very anxious after the surgery the nurses were always encouraging and supportive. UCHL is a centre of excellence for this type of treatment and we can see why. The hospital is easily accessible adjacent to Warren St tube and we hope that anyone considering treatment would not be put off by traveling into central London. Also great facilities for relatives and friends who may have to spend a long time on site Great facility too at the macmillion Centre nearby, where some of our appointments were held
